So the saga continues

Ok Phil decided to lift the body off the chassis to get a better look at how everything is and went from there.

New balls were machined up to suit the existing mounts

A new adjustable mounting plate was made for the front and one of the balls welded to it.

Looking good Brendan but it has convinced me NEVER to attempt to put a chair on a 1200 Tenere. Would absolutely destroy my K.I.S.S. principle.

Ok next on the agenda was trying to figure out some solid mounting points to anchor the subframe. I will say I did receive a phone call one night from Phil explaining how he was going to do. I will admit it was a bit hard to imagine what he was saying, but I did have some loose vision in my head as to what he was saying. It was only till I got to see what he had done that I truely grasped what what was said and to say the least I was very impressed.

The video was taken mistakenly with the rear spring preload wound all the way down. Phil hasn't fully set it up yet so it may look a little straighter when he's finished.

Looking good!! Doesn't look like it was easy, but most things worth doing aren't.
