It doesn't so much as ride over things ... just through them!! :)

A good friend will take you trail riding, an ADV friend will double back and say, "how did you get down there?"

I'm still a big fan of the TY500 and TY650!

This is what I started this post about. A Peter Gaunt Replica.

My machinist called and said my xl350 crank mod to the xl250 case is done. Pictures in the next couple days.

Those are real cool bikes, which I never knew exsisted.
Its hard to pick the most appealling between the two, (not counting the Seat Cover) but I think I like the 700 with downswept pipe the best. The other looks more like a TT. Either would produce some giggles for sure.

...What rear brake..?

The rear brake lever is black and is indeed invisible in the photo. It was curved back a bit to get it within size-11 boot-toe distance of the rear-set pegs, but is still out of the way. It is the little gray knot directly above the original front footpeg mount hole in the lower frame tube.

Sorry folks. There was a move from Tucson, AZ to Grand Junction CO in between my last post ad picking up the crank.

But here it is. So well done that it doesn't look out of place.

Go back a few posts to see the before set-up.

Yeeeowza! One would have to be almost as brave to ride one of these in a real Trial than ride a TY80!!!

TL 250 conversion to Trail??

Looking to convert my 76' TL 250 from TRIALS to TRAIL.
Single track, fireroads, easy woodsy stuff.

Figure bigger plusher seat maybe some knobbies and head/tail light. Any other suggestions?
