Hi Franc!

Check the previous post from some pictures. More links: here and here

Anything with BB... means SCO, VaP implies camping most of the days...

You should carry your stuff in the bike in both options.

I'm very happy you're joining

Luis....include me, SCO or VaP....doesn't matter. Of course, I will be on the R1200GS. My only problem is that I will need to meet up Saturday or Sunday. I will travel about 2100 KM and with my 15th wedding aniversary on the 8th, compromises were necessary. I should leave Mainz no later than Thursday noon. Maybe someone could text me the location from the route? I have a Garmin 60CSx with City Nav, so I shouldn't have much problem locating the group en route.

Chris

Hello Chris!

Great! Thanks for being here even with such important compromise!

No problem for joining after beggining, of course we will keep in touch and meet somewhere you could identify easily in your GPS and guide you to the bivouac.

Welcome

Welcome
Luís,

Feel free to give anyone who's joining the event my phone number and I guess I can also speak in Herminio's behalf on this subject.

Better to have a few cellphone numbers than just one...

Cheers

Yes, Paulo, thanks, cellphone numbers will be plenty shared within participants before start.

I wouldn't say that

Franc wants Bed & Breakfast, not available at VaP, and other people are not in the list but asking questions by pm and, however in doubt, prefering SCO...

But, as I said, SCO will take place only with until 8th April confirmation of 5 participants + 1 guide, 4+1 is not enough... Franc, if it happens, I will carry your tent and food in my (or perhaps Paulo's ) bike, bigger ones :-) Fair enough?

Another thing: don't worry about VaP crowdness... We'll split in several groups, plenty of (perhaps broken...) english spoken guides!

Luis it's not a problem to carry things. I don't like camping and I will camp a lot on this trip (I plan a whole month on the road). I prefer BB but as you all know it's not allways possible.
I need better windscreen and that must be removed before I go offroad (that was reason that I ask for place to store things).
I am shopping for panniers, rack and tent (on priority list after my last trip).
And I got rid of that lousy licence plate holder.
see you...
