Them's are my votes, anyway. Glad to join in if something can be figured out.
Tuesday is great. Let's try the new spot.

Tried to order my IICE Air...

When I tried to complete my PayPal order, I got the message...
We're sorry, the following item(s) isn't available at this time:

Did I do something wrong?

Hey there, Doctor. What's up is this. I'm at work learning and constructing the equipment necessary to build all the upcoming boards, including the Calibration Plug-in board. It isn't moving as fast as I or anyone else would like. But the work is necessary to set up a mini factory over here.

This weekend I'm working on a hand and arm steadying device made from aluminum shapes. It's part of the semi-assisted pick and place process I've cooked up. These things are necessary for the two-sizes-too-small-for-manual-pick-and-place surface mount parts on the Calibration board.

This work pays nothing but dividends for the future. For example while working on the above, the idea of a very inexpensive sub-microsecond data acquisition tool came to me. Which led to a way that the digital IICE devices can know more about what the ECU is doing, and have more engine management capability.

And somewhat in the background I brainstorm and continue penciling up the hardware and software structure of the new digital IICE devices. JJ and I were on the phone just the other day on that topic. When we get going we typically lose track of time, and were talking for about 3 hours. We get into some blue-sky ideas about what to build for the EFI and Ignition on the BMW bikes.

When you get into that small of pieces it get's interesting, and I'm glad you are considering the volume. I remember when all this started it was like X0 units one time. How long ago now....

Cool good to hear there is something going on, and that you're not just enjoying good food and drinking beer.

On that note I have a couple buddies now in Seal Beach and San Diego. Time for the DRZ to move out there to live. The riding was amazing compared to the Cough TX sucks Cough.

When?

I purchased the IICE a year and a half ago.

All I want to know is if I'll have a useable product - the digital version - by next spring?

Camo,

The year 2525 might be too optimistic...

In the interim, on the affected bikes, you can operate the Air on the -30 jumper setting.

If you have an IICE Air the free plug-in part is in the works and will be available soon. Or if you prefer, you can choose to upgrade to one of the new digital dual-function devices. The Air/Cool or the Air/Smooth.

If you decide to go with one of the new IICE digitals, the full price of the Air will be applied to the new device.

OK, It's November now and still no fix!!! What a drag I've been waiting for a year now for the fix. Can you give an update? Please, not some sort of a crazy eight ball answer. I am loosing faith in this product.

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz, Dave
