eakins,

I recently sold a few sets of the Rocky Mountain Saddle Bags and was quite impressed with the quality and the capacity. The tough outer bag is the way to go for off-road use. At the end of the day, when the bags are covered in mud, you can just pull out the nice clean inner dry bag and head for the tent.

I don't know if they're interested in carrying racks again. I think I read that they want to just concentrate on supplying riders with their top quality luggage.

Tom

Hi Fred,

We have a prototype set made and are sending them to a test rider for evaluation. It won't be long now!

Thanks, Tom

The problem with that though is, without racks for them, they are pretty much useless.

All of our side luggage racks were originally designed to hold Wolfman Expedition Dry Saddle Bags. The Rocky Mountain Saddle Bags fit perfectly too. The bungee loops on our racks are designed to hold the Wolfman metal retainers.

After we stopped making racks, we found a simple and strong way to mount our bags to most other manufacturers' racks. Universal Saddle Bag Straps come with all rack mounted saddle bags and work great with a bunch of rack manufacturers. That includes GIVI, Touratech, SW Motech, Hepco-Becker, Happy Trails, Moto-Racks, Dirt Racks, etc. You can get them without the bags too. Check the site.

Ok Wolfman, thank you. I have your products now and like them very much. Glad I can use your bags on future bikes with other racks !
