nice to see a couple a little closer to our age riding I was beginning to think you were supposed to be well over 40 to do this kind of riding

Loved the RR. Glad it popped back up or I would have never found it.

Im in central AR. PM me in yall ever get up this way and need a place to crash and some warm food

Im attempting to save the money for a similar trip. I want to see Alaska by bike but my wife says no Alaska. She is afraid of bears and skeeters. We definably want to see the red woods and east coast while we are gone.

Here I am following her with the GoPro on the Arkansas 500 ride. Yall should come on up for it in April 2013 and join us. 3 days and 500 miles or Arkansas back roads. http://www.advrider.com/forums/showt...740055&page=18

Thumb Thanks for a great RR.

I really like the simplicity and humor that characterizes your narrative style - and it's great with all the pictures.

My girlfriend and I came back from a 1 month/7000 miles roadtrip in the western part of the US a few weeks ago, and have been many of the same places that you guys have, which make reading your RR even more interesting.

NB. I like your choice of bikes

I had to comment on this ride even though you did it so long ago already. It was a great story and an awesome ride report! I wish I would of found this RR before I went to Alaska in 2012. It's great to see you had such and epic ride and it makes me want to get back on the road again. Thanks for sharing your trip with us Nikki and Jordan! Thanks again for sharing, Fred.

Inspiring... to say the least!

Great Adventure! Thanks for sharing your experiences. My wife and I made a 4400 mile adventure out West in 1979 with a few friends. We were two up on a Suzuki GS750L (not exactly a touring bike, but, at the time, as good as most). I still ride one day trips, mostly close to home, in Middle and East Tennessee. After reading a few RR on Advrider, we're ready to go agian! This is the best report, great photography and writing skills! Thanks again, when is the book going to be available? Have fun and keep riding....

Jordan -

Nice report with good pictures. I echo the other inmates, Nikki is a trooper and good sport...and Nikki, the whole bear thing is overblown. Mountain Lions are another matter, however.

I've done big parts of your trip twice, and even at my advanced age am planning another assault. The lure of the great white north, can't be ignored!

Thanks for the read!
