You might want to look into selling both your alum cans and get a Ti while the alums are still good.

YMMV.
Whats the consensus on the standard spark arrestor in a Ti FMF-Q2? I've read various comments about problems at highway speeds, with Ti pipes, 2:1 and spark arrestors, not sure if it applies to the FMFs or not?

Cool, I don't know anything about the Remus. I only had an FMF. Heat was a major problem with mine, the aluminum couldn't handle it. I did have header wrap on it too so that contributed to the excess heat.

No idea, my only experience is with an FMF aluminum can.

I ordered the Wings as a replacement so I will see how that works.

Thumb Unoism

I switched to a 2-1 Leo Vince and love it. Leaves room for a keen tool tube,
Bike feels like it runs cleaner. No reason not to do far as I can see. About the same or less $$$ to get one can and CJs pipe than to cans.
...and you can get a CJ spark arrestor for just about any pipe I believe (not shown here but I have one now).

Would you have any pics of your mounting? Has the rear tire ever hit the tube?

Nope. No problem with the tube.
I fab'd a simpl straight bracjet about 3-4: from the pipe hanger to the tube.
Simple easy.
I can't seem to find a pic of the tube but it's one of those plastic agricultural tubes ($5), holds plenty of stuff. My neighbor actually used an exhaust hanger for the same tube on is DR650. Keen idea!

The pipe:

Thanks!
I originally thought you installed it under your 2-1. Then I looked at your other pix and you have it on the left side. I'm trying to see how to mount one of the right side, somehow

More bottom

Everybody tells "more bottom" and I tend to accept this now (earlier I suspected the feel of more torque was an illusion related with different exhaust sound).

Anyway, quantity?
Has anybody made dyno-runs comparing 2-2 with 2-1?

Honestly? I can't tell the difference... However, I did go from the stock nuclear reactors to the 2 into 1 setup. I've never known the joy that is 2 into 2 with quality cans...

Oh well.....950Se with akras and the small inserts here. I recently installed the H2W kit (gracias Ken for the development!). The bottom and midrange have been transformed. No need for the 2-1 anymore except for the extra fuel. I am sure similar effect can be had with the injected bikes with proper mapping.

I'm wondering whether a single Q2 Titanium FMF is going to hold up to sustained street use @>5000rpm.
