Those would be pretty easy to copy. Do people really pay that kind of cash for those?

That's at the American Biker dealership. They carried Triumph until last year.

I wouldn't, but some would. They are pretty darn nice when you see them up close. The guy that bought the one I saw had the most immaculate garage you've ever seen, and about 20 motorcycles to go in it, most of which were old Triumphs.

It sounds too good to be true. Let us know it is was/wasn't.

I just rode to Augusta, and passed through Columbia. If I had gotten an earlier start, I would have responded to that ad. MrsDonkeys would enjoy a Funduro.

However, I started out late, and I was on the Husky. When I was in Camden, I thought "I should really stop in Columbia and check that out."

One mile into the superslab, the bottom let out. It stormed, and I mean STORMED, the rest of the way to Augusta. There was no way I was stopping in that mess.

I wanted to buy that bike so bad! The timing on the sale was all wrong. I'm glad though, because I ended up with my Husky instead. I love the DR650, but it is no comparison to the TR650. It's like comparing a John Deer to a Ferrari.

Well, I was prepared Sunday night to go get the GS if I had received a timely response, but didn't get a reply until 11. The seller informed me he had gotten 10 responses in the first 3 hours the ad was posted, me being third. The first 2 were local and already had set up appointments with him for Monday, and I was tentatively in line for this afternoon.

Sadly, he emailed last night to say the bike was sold. He never sent pictures, which I suppose is better in the end so I don't have to see the deal I missed,

That sucks. I take full responsibility for your problem. I opened the ad, saw it, but let my wife distract me. It took 30min for me to post it. I wish I had posted it sooner.

Moral of the story: Listening to your wife makes you a buddy fucker.
