And when it explodes you rebuild it and make it bigger.

You get me. To bad the gas tank leaks now. And the battery doesn't hold a charge overnight. And I've never replaced the sprockets. And the brakes suck. And my garage mechanic cut down levers are ready to be replaced with actual shorty levers.

But when it starts and doesn't leak and doesn't have to stop it's great.

Uh kinda short on details isn't it? A box of parts and no description. I could make a mint like that.

Some guys at work are looking for beginner bikes. Low displacement, less than $1000, street legal, sort of running. I already told them that for $2k its easy but they're married with kids and need to be cheap. Post up if you see anything.

The price is $1350 but I bet it could be negotiated lower. The Nighthawk 750 is a good solid bike. Heck I'd love to have this one myself. It would be a perfect commuter bike. It has a custom seat and windscreen already. Just add heated grips and ride, ride, ride!

And the best part is..hydraulic lifters! Every oil change is a valve adjustment!

(10/40 only, 20/50 makes 'em rattle)

Yep, these are easily 100k + mileage bikes with minimal maintenance required. I wish Honda would update the bike with ABS, EFI, better brakes and bring it back.

Sounds like what they just did with the CB1100, with a $12k price tag slapped on.

Yup. I just got word that URAL is going to EFI next year. How much you wanna bet that a 2014 Ural is going to set you back $20k now?
