Another PC800

Hard to believe this thing is going on 24.

1990 Honda Pacific Coast - $2500 (West Ashley)

I've got a really nice Honda PC800 for sale. For the last 2 years it's been my dialy driver and it's been a very reliable and great bike. It cruises comfortably on interstate highways or on back roads and it has a large trunk for storing all your goodies. The true beauty of this bike is the low maintenance bullet-proof motor. With hydraulic valve lifters and a shaft drive, there's no valve adjustments or chains maintenance. Oil changes every 3000-5000 miles and she's very happy. These bikes, like Goldwings, are known for impressive odometer readings...100k miles is common and 300k is not unheard of.

While it may look like a scooter(and I get this question alot), it's actually an 800cc v twin motor with a 6 speed transmission...very similar to the 750 Honda Shadow engine. It's fairly quick and with good rubber it's a nice handling bike for it's size. The bike has 42k miles and starts, runs and stops great. No knocks, squeals, pings or leaks.

Since I have owned it, I have replaced the fork seals, added a high output stator along with a US-made voltage regulator to replace the mediocre OEM unit.
Replaced both seat covers
I recently put a new Metzler tire on the rear and the front is showing good tread and should last until the next rear tire change.

The bads:
There was a radio, but a previous owner removed it.
The left rear view mirror has a crack in it. Still functinal though.
The paint isn't the best, but it's ok for a 24 year old bike.
A small piece of the fairing is cracked on the right hand lower side.
The high beam switch is flakey and you have to find the sweet spot for the high beams to turn.

Due to a newer Italian lady taking up space in my garage, I need to unload Big Red.

I am not intertested in trades.
I am not interested in money-making ideas.

If you're intertested, email me your number and please put in the email somewhere "PC800" so I can filter the spammers. Much appreciated.

I've never met an unhappy PC owner. Everyone swears that it is one of the best motorcycles Honda ever made.

1991 Suzuki DR350 $800 No title.

2000 SV650 $1400 Needs a little TLC. It could be a good street/track bike.

If someone picks up that DR350,I can put them in contact with a person to get a title.Cheaper than a titling agency.I have had a couple done through my contact. So I can speak from experience.

Be VERY careful with buying a street registered bike without a title. I have been burned.

Get the VIN and have it checked. Any local LEO can run the VIN for you. If it is a legit bike then the owner will not mind you checking it out before a sale.

The should be able to. Remember if it comes up stolen they will ask you where the bike is and you will have to tell them.
