I have a thing for CX500's. This is a great example in good running order for a decent price.

I'm talking to the guy now. Offered 1k but he isn't budging. Anyone in the area able to assist with the transaction if I can make it happen? I won't be able to get up that way until Saturday at the soonest.

I figured you'd like that one.

Normally, I'd be all about helping you. But I'm hitting the road tonight. VACATION!

If you can get it done I could pick it up for you and put it in the garage. At least that is half way to you.

Must be a joke...........

I hope this is a joke, awesome price but there has to be some bad karma that would be included in the deal.

I knew a guy that got a one year old Porsche Boxster in Germany on a deal like that for 5,000 euro. Lady needed exactly that much money to move across the country, so she sold his car for it (titled in her name though). The ad got thousands of replies, but my friend was the first. We were on shift at the time, and we actually let him off work to make the deal once we found out it was legit.

The guilt would kill me if I took advantage of a deal like that.
If she really doesnt know what its worth it would kill me.... if she knew and still only wanted a fraction of the value, that's a different story.

In the case of the Porsche, it was mostly out of spite. In the case of this Honda, I think it is phishing. What married couple "breaks up." Interesting choice of words there.

I still haven't mastered posting the ad

BEWARE!! Bosozoku Motorcycle Gangs - $1 (behind you)

They're fast from the past. LOOKOUT!!! these dudes are know for modding their bikes, making noise, causing disturbances, driving recklessly, weaving in traffic, not wearing protective headwear, running red lights, speeding, and being a pain in the butt. They gather in the hundreds and drive slowly though suburbs, blocking traffic and waving imperial Japanese flags while creating an unbelievable uproar with their illegally modified mufflers. They start fights and terrorize people with wooden swords, metal pipes, and baseball bats. LOOKOUT!!! Those clothes are not for show. These guys are REAL NINJA-CLOWNS ON MOTORCYCLES!!!!! They are said to appear in your mirror out of nowhere and then they multiply very rapidly. LOOKOUT!!!!!!! They can be very overwhelming. If you find yourself in this situation, stay calm and swim parallel to the shore. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO RACE THESE DUDES under any circumstances. They will smoke your new ducati with a 1982 "Somethin-or-other" with a 10' sissy bar. LOOKOUT!!!! They are on our streets. LOOKOUT!!! LOOKOUT!!!
