A huge difference in my opinion. My first trip on one was on a stock DR650 that I rode to Houston, Tx. and back (Atlanta area), in a weekend. Without that sheapskin, I would've never made it. On my trip out west and back on my sv650s, I somehow misplaced it and would've gave $500 for one at the time. Plus the pad is multi use, it doubles as a pillow if you roll it up and put it in a stuff sack, try to do that with a Corbin.

I'm sorry, I didn't answer your entire question. It comes with an elastic strap that goes under the seat with a quick release on each side. Thanks, Barb

Barb,

Tried to install the regular size dual sport pad, however, it just doesn't work with the quick release strap; it gets in the way when you re-install the seat. Have you sold anyone a pad for either the 250R or X? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I have a XR650L and not a lot of coin. I ride solo all the time. Will one of the small solo seats work. Also I have high arched feet and can never find a shoe I can stand in all day plus I work 10 hour shifts on concrete. Will the insoles help? If you've got a special on multi-colored rejects I would like to know.
