Hi
Add me to the "Maybe" list depending on price (getting it to Australia) and how it looks.

Thanks

He is working hard to come up with a full & correct kit for us. So far, his pricing is very good. And they *will* offer an ADV discount. He is working off of this diagram: http://www.advrider.com/forums/showp...&postcount=142

He gets that people want this now. He wants to make sure he is doing it right.

I'd probably fall into the "sort of maybe" listing as well.

I do have another question ... would it be possible to extend the required lines enough to allow for the addition of bar risers? It'd be a shame to spend and mod with this kit and still have it too tight to add those shiny Rox units I've been eyeing.

And thanks to all for the leg-work you are doing to make this available to the masses.

Put me on the maybe list. Probably will, at least I ought to.

I second the "thanks" to everyone. I am still in, based on what I am hearing on prices, etc.

One key thing for me would be to understand whether this presents any risk to the ABS function. I assume not, since others have done it....

Now, if someone would just do all the other crap for me: fab up some fork protector mounting brackets, fabricate a metal mount for the new upper fender part, trim an old F650 fender to the proper specs, etc....

Yes, in fact.

Jim (Helbrakes) has finalized a kit, and is sending it to me for installation. Unfortunately my post for 800GS riders near Sugar Grove, PA didn't turn up anybody. Too bad, they could have gotten the same deal Motorfliets is getting from Spiegler.

So, we will have a choice soon. Too early to comment on price/fit/quality comparison, but worth waiting for, IMHO.

Perfect - best to have some choices.

Good question on the risers though my understanding is we are fine regardless of bar height because all of the mods happen at the triple tree and go south - anyone who's done this able to confirm? If needed, I'll ring up Mathias and discuss the concern.

As for the leg work - you're welcome. Though - I'm very happy to help and it ain't much compared to how valuable the collective knowledge of this forum has been.

I am not qualified to answer the ABS question but will offer my own conclusion which is somewhat based on what I've read - ABS will be

+1 on the on the high fender mount, I'm thinking of using MCMXCIVRS pic as my new screen saver.

It will be interesting to see the Spiegler materials schedule. Sounds like they are shooting for 'full set' of lines, bits and pieces. Motorfiets will be able to share pics, personal account and we will receive documentation from Mathias as to exact inclusion kit box contents.

Add me to the definitely-maybe list pending pricing and fender options... I'm on the fence about getting rid of the low fender, but the cross-over crap has GOT to go!
