Wow, looks like an amazing ride...will be watching this one.

You are right, should be thankful for any job offer in this economy, let alone one that will wait on you to have some fun first. How long are you planning for this?

I'm in for this one. The 660 Tenere is the bike Yamaha should have brought to the US instead of the 1200 or maybe along with the 1200. Good luck on your adventure.

Thumb Curious

Amazing, this trip is unreal. How much $$ do you think it will cost in the end? Not a bit of my business, just curious? The best to you!

drop me a PM at the end and i will have it all broken down on a spreadsheet, right now i'm figuring/ budgeting $40 a day...doing this ride pretty quick cause i have go to work, estimated timeframe around 4 months, if i didn't have a job to come back to i would take at least a year and sleep on the side of the road more than i expect to on this one

Looks like the journey of a lifetime... Looking forward to all the updates! It looks like you'll be coming through Prince George, BC on your way north to Alaska. I'm just west of town (the direction you'll likely be heading if you're taking the Cassiar Hwy north). Drop me a PM when you have a better idea on timeline and we can put you up and share a meal and a few drinks.

Also, don't forget to check the Tent Space thread for more ADV'er-hosted accommodations.

Subscribed. When you hit NS, there will be a place for you to rest, garage, tools and some cold Alexander Keith's India Pale Ale and the pool for a swim and to take a load off. PM me for details..
