just thowing this put there

i've been in the motorcycle business since 1993 extreme high end custom shop for V twins/ harleys, lost my business in 2007 (very long story) basically from then on lost interest in motorcycles...until an editor of a magazine who featured me a bunch of times suggested a long road trip...very long, to get back into it. it created a new interst in an area of motorcycling that i was never interested in mainly becuase i didn't really know it existed and is strongly followed how i see it here.

what i am trying to say here is since i have been a member of this site and a few other forums i have found everyone and i do mean everyone to be the most helpful, friendly and honestly genuine group of people i have ever met/ spoken with in the motorcycle industry...in hindsight this is the direction i wish now i had gone in '93

i look forward to meeting some of you on my travels and any questions don't hesitiate to ask, if you missed that photo in some location i'm going thru cause of bad weather let me take it for you - for example

leaving for the airport early in the morning for my 26 hours of flying to start the adventure...ushuaia here i come

dmh65......I've been looking thru your blog and I'm a little confused with the story about the "road book" and the travels you explain. Did you already do this or is this a book from someone else's travel or what? Looking forward to the start of your adventure.

the road book, is the route we are taking day by day, none of it is done yet, it starts tomorrow morning with me getting on a plane in new orleans

i'm going to delete the road book off the blog, that was more for family and friends to know my direction and towns going thru

check back in a few days, i land in ushuaia on march 21st and then start moving march 24th heading north

Thumb Epic, I like epic!

If Charlotte, NC is on the route, you got an open invite here. I got the racing tour, good food, a garage, a dog.... Come on by!

WOW. Best of luck to you - talk about an epic journey. We're a house of ADVers, so if you're anywhere close to Bellingham and need anything (food; bed; beer; etc.) we'll do whatever we can!
Happy Travels!
