Angeles Forest tree planting

For the next several weeks a local organization is looking for volunteers to help re-forest the burn areas in the Angeles forest. This year they are planting trees near Charlton flats off hwy 2. I have done this for the past few years near Arrowhead and it's a great way to spend the day. It was a sunny day at Charlton Flats this weekend, and great day for a ride. I heard we planted over 1500 trees on Sunday . Weather right now is perfect for the trees and damn fine for being up in the mountains. Going back the last WE in April. Hope to see some of you there.

since this event is every weekend for the month of april, people can pick a good date for them. it will be nice if we can volunteer as adv riders.
