Since I was lucky (???) enough to be in this class with the SMIBs and partook in their fun, frolicking and excellent training from the team of instructors, I figured I should subscribe to this thread too. Great meeting all of you guys!

Another testimonial to how great this class was.

John, from the pretzel place.

I am assuming you are talking to jdub, but I was just told that my next job will be in Carlisle, PA (although not until fall 2013), and when I pulled it up on a map the first thing that jumped out at me was its proximity to Jax's legendary Michaux....

Jax - I am a bit. Just a few days ago I saw your thread about riding there, and intended on replying and hooking up with you guys as soon as my schedule allows. And now I know to fall with grace if the need arises.

fixed

That's great Eric! I don't know much about Carlisle, but Gettysburg is close, has good eats and obvious historic attractions. Excellent twisties and country riding abounds. Rothrock and Bald Eagle are close too... Nice!

Cool, I'll add you to the pm list when I go. You should introduce yourself to SoPaRider and Laoch. Those guys are there all the time.

The day ride is over. What a good venue for using the skills from the last 2 days. Only 2 drops - one was an instructor (Ross) in a parking lot and the other was me taking a bad line on a gravel corner and hitting the soft stuff on the edge of the road. Over I went. No damage other than pride.

Blaster and Dorito are on their way to SMIBville. I am spending the night here and riding home in the AM.

A great weekend which we all highly endorse.

Just got done moving 45 Gigs of Video onto my iMac. This should be fun to sift through. I'll see what I can put together and post up. Let the editing begin.

Just a quick shot showing Dorito's skill of bailing out in mid flight. I call it "The Dorito Method of Parking".

Just to be clear, I'm not busting on Dorito. I would venture to guess that I probably had the most "Offs". The instructors were very patient throughout our entire evolution.

I just remember something Bill said during the pre-breif about it's a rental bike...
