Sounds like a good deal to me!!!

I changed the front tire for the guy from Wales before he headed out to the N00B rally. It was welded onto the rim. Been there since the middle east, sat for a year in a shed out in Canada. The bead was fused/welded to the rim. Took the better part of an hour to remove the tire and clean up the wheel before putting the new tire on it....

What a PITA.
dang you're a good fella dave.

let's have a tire changing contest next event IF we get the chance. sito and ben i know are fast, both are under 20 minutes. dunerat claims 15 minutes without a beer break. mongox a little over 10 minutes. i myself haven't had any flat and don't know if i can do it in an hour, though i've changed about 20+ tires using a machine.

Friday

We wanted to take the "Smell the flowers" ride. I was late getting ready and the group left about 5 minutes ahead of us. So Marcia and I along with Super Suz took off and caught them on Indian Valley road.

Super Suz

Ballarat

Mootsuno

Gollar wash
Kathy

We watched the steps cargnage for a bit. Then turned around cause the Ural wasnt getting up the steps. So Marcia and I rode back out Indian Valley road to the Charcoal Kilns

I put some new YSS shocks on the Ural so she was going wide open thats 65 MPH on a Ural folks. Its fun to ride a slow bike fast.

Upper valley near the kilns

snack break

I was going to ask if the URAL made it up over the steps... but you answered my question. I do believe Mr Cobb and company made it over on his last run to DV, but I want to double check to make sure..

My goal is take the Burro up and over sometime in the next couple of months.

I am soooo jealous. I couldnt ride to Gollar Wash, steps and Ballarat on nOObs Ride.
So I decided to make a one long day trip and ride to those places on a weekend. Probably a Saturday. Leave around 5'ish, latest 6am and be back by 8pm.

Unfortunately the ranger has the gate just pass the Kilns closed about 50 meters up. I had to hike past it a few days later. But other roads, yes.

These 5 videos combined is the ride from Trona gas station to the PSR campground. This was my ride-in video for the noob rally. I rode in with a bad final drive bearing and blown final drive seal. This was the only ride I did that weekend.

Thanks again to Lior and RobG for their assistance with my broken BMW.

I apologize in advance for the scratching noise in some of the video. My motoport kevlar riding suit makes a lot of noise when I move around on the seat. Also, the wind noise is really loud.
