Staying a week in Blue Ridge

First week of November 2014. Flying in to Atlanta and renting a cabin near Blue Ridge Lake. Not many bike rental places that I can find so I thought I might appeal to one of the inmates for a half-/day tour on a backup bike. Trails would be neat but I'm up for anything. I normally ride DL650 and CBR 600 and have some track days under my belt. South Florida motorcycling is boring - show me your ways.

Thanks DirtDabber I appreciate the reply! WOW is a possibility, although it is 3hr+ round trip from where I'm staying. I would just need to work out the logistics. Still holding out for another ADV'er with a spare bike and some time to kill.

My first time in the mountains was great. A little cold in the morning but a few layers worked out just fine. I rented a DRZ400SM from Sportbikes4hire.com which I can highly recommend. Great bike for the tighter areas and even better to explore side roads on.

I'll be doing that again in the future.
