My 89 seems to have blown a head gasket again so am pulling apart AGAIN but this time I am sending the head and cylinder out to get "decked" to REP (Racers Edge Performance) up in Springfield Mass. I hope this fixes it because thats 3 head gaskets in the last month and Southwick is Aug 6 and if any track is tough on motors thats the one!

DEP pipe install,
YZ with 5.4 hrs.

Stock silencer,

DEP silencer,

DEP pipe,

All done,

All in all a perfect fit, no adjustments needed!
The yz did feel a little "choked" up and from what i read it was the new silencer which you can see is kinda big, hopefully this will free up the motor a bit. Ride report coming.

Dep looks great! Man the tracks you ride up north are soooooo nice looking, we don't have shit in central Flatistan, seems like all the tracks are designed down here by 18yr old Supercross wanna be's

Yes the natural terrain tracks are the best, elevation changes makes the track more interesting for sure.

Had to do the 89 CR 125's fork seals as well as tap one of the axle keeper screws, Southwick is only 2 weeks away...

Filled them up and set the oil level,

Forks are good to go now, just need a barrel and head.

I thought the forks were pretty good but the oil that came out of them looked like it had been in there since 89? can't wait to feel them now!

Got out on the YZ today in the heat, had to try the new pipe which woke the bike up and really made the motor sweet!
