Early Monoshock Rebuild Tips

I have an early Monoshock from an IT250 that I would like to try to rebuild. I'm having a hard time finding any info on the Web, probably because the shock predates most computers.

Anybody know of any how to articles or manuals that might be available?

pretty sure there's a monoshock rebuild thread somewhere on http://www.yamahait.com.au/ or maybe ozvmx... thought i had it bookmarked, but guess not. i'll dig around a bit...
