Hi Rudy,
I remember talking to you at the check. The scene was a little fuzzy as I was on the ground and couldn't see much. The actual incident remains very clear. I didn't want to fill the other thread with all my tales of doom, but I do have the makings of a real good face plant thread.

It was pretty bad, but it could have been worse and in the end I'll be ok. This is not my first time through the wringer so I have a good baseline to go by. My injuries were extensive and recovery time will be prolonged. The doctors and their staff are amazed that I can even walk into their offices. I tell them I wore every piece of protective gear I owned, it made all the difference on this one.

I would like a pic of the car if someone can come up with one. PM/e-mail me if necessary.

It costs twice as much, it should be a little better. In the end it's just as totaled.

Walt you were right.....Jersey is a dangerous place. I got taken out today by a woman on a 650 GS today at the Hammer Run!

Yup Jersey got me to, drove my left shoulder into the ground going about 45mph. Luckily I had soft landing. I was laughing on the way down

Yes, it's going on as a high center mount stop light. I'm going to hook it up to an ABS speed sensor deal so it comes on only when the bike is going more than 50 mph and one or both of the wheels are locked up. If you see it come on there may be an action shot for your go pro.

It's not perfect, but it's close. These are awesome bikes. Too bad it will be months before I can even ride it.
