Finding the old rail road

Here is a small RR from todays ride.

So today me and a friend tried to ride on one of the old roal roads.
It opened in 1911 and closed in 1966.

This is where the railroad used to be.

today most of the old railroad is gone.. but some of it is used for bike trails

other is just road now and some is just gone and gone back to nature!

this is one of those times where the old railroad was almost gone.

most of where we rode today was not excactly legal so it was a good thing that the weather was CRAP. that way most people stay indoors.

but then it was a great that my friend had a glove dryer. :-)

this is one of the old bridges where the old rail road used to run below.

this is one of the train stations. This one is from 1912. it was sold in 1966 to a privat owner, who's daugther still lives there.

after 3 hours we was done and of course we stopped in for a bite to eat...
you know a good RR has to involve food.

by the way... check out what I parked next to. yes a bunch of red scooters.
and why are they there.. well here in Denmark the rule is that when you turn 15 you can get a drivers license to ride a scooter. so this was a traffic school getting ready to ride.

thats all for now.. bye bye
