Sorry we couldn't show ya around, I got off work at 7am sat morn so I was done for the day. Lots of skinney ridges like the pic above, unfortunately the quads have turned allot of what used to be single track into freeways, those can be fun too untill you meet up with a razr going he other way
![]() The best stuff out there (to the north) usally has some sidehill access points where quads wouldn't dare to go

You just missed some really fun Single track that heads south, once you get close to the bottom of where you took
your photo. There is soo much stuff out there, that we seem to find something new almost everytime. Try to come down again, soon, cause the conditions are good now. Hopefully I can show you around.

it is quite the bike
and probably the best 4 stroke as a transition from my 2 strokes, revs nice, gets flighty if you want to slide it around, turns like crazy......but it finds traction ANYWHERE im loving it so far

I assume the north side slopes should still be covered, however it should be melting pretty quickly within the next week. Let us know when you can make it.

I was at the dunes today and the sand looked perfect. Everything that wasn't sand or slickrock was mucky as all getout though. I would have ridden since I had my bike and gear with me but forgot to put the fill plug back in my bike after changing the oil this AM. Thats what I get for working on my bike in the AM, sober.
![]() Looks like I'll be doing some trans flushes tonight.

I'm heading to the dunes right now. I'll likely be on the big turn track on the other side of the hill from that big wide whooped out hill climb near the road.

Matt Wiz, Mexican Willie ( John Kennedy) and I just got back from 3 days of riding in Santa Fe area. We rode Buckman on Thursday afternoon, Happy Valley (i.e. Alcalde or Espanola) on Friday and Southern Blvd. West of rio Rancho on Saturday. We had a little snow on the ground on Thursday and Fridays ride, but nothing we could not get through and ride. Saturday we hit the desert terrain and whoops. A little rain at the end of our ride. Great time as always, plus we managed to hit 4 different Brew Pubs. Blue Corn in Santa Fe and Nexus, Turtle Mountain and Marble Brewery in Albuquerque. Will see if Matt can post a few pics.

How was the dez up there? We got a good rain yesterday and rode the west side of Abq today. Every once in awhile we get lucky and the stars align, the sand gets almost like clay, nice traction, front tire sticks, wheelies out of the corners, today was one of those days.
