I saw a few new pieces of single track but didn't really do any exploring.

I'll be super sad if any of that more primitive stuff closes.
Don't have much time this morning to explain but there is a meeting at the sanjuan college Thursday at 4 I think. We need as many people there as possible. A motion is trying to be set in place that the only trail dirt bikers can ride on is the trail that goes to light plant rd (516?). You turn around there and head back the same way you came. This cannot happen. Il post more when I have time.

Well, the good news is that they are still willing to add trails that we provide during the comment period. We have to have GPS logs of the single track that we would like to have considered for designating a trail or they can shut down the trail. Allen and Dave have been working pretty hard on getting everything put together and presented.

The bad news is that there is likely going to be about 5000 acres closed for quite recreation (mountain biking, hiking, esquestrain, and running). There will be designated trails through the quite area for transferring from east to west and west to east. I think the only track that they have marked as single track is the whooped out west side road apple course.

So hopefully the guys can pull off an 11th hour stay of execution or get more single tracks added to the glade planning.

Please submit a comment to the BLM via their web site and tell them to preserve the single tracks that are going to be submitted.

Its not to late so please take a few minutes and email the BLM.
Our turnout was not what we had hoped and without people writing we are fighting a losing battle.
Ask for NO CHANGE... All of the options they are offering are bad for motorized recreation.
We know for a lot of you it isnt your battle but we could really use your support.

Maybe we'll get a little help from the sequester for a "no change" alternative.

Will do, so email/letters to the farmington BLM office? We should post a thread in the main rockys forum. this is important.
