I will also be getting the rear shock rebuilt. hey pappa_j, where did you take your bike to get worked on? I will be putting up a build thread, hopefully the bike should be ridable before the last weekend of the month, so i can at least ride then. If i need a quick fix i can still ride my Dr350, but unfortunatly i cant ride it on the black stuff.

Sorry to hear that. I took my motorcycle to ATV World. This is my first experience with ATV World (although I do show up every once and a while and drool over a new Beta). They stepped up to the plate and they seem committed to doing things correctly. They said the valves were way out of spec., so I look forward to getting the bike back and seeing what it does after the valves are adjusted.

I am ok not riding on any black stuff. Since I didn't have a motorcycle this weekend I had to settle on watching all of the helmet cam recordings of Brainless_1. Thanks Brainless_1 for the recordings.

mmmmmm beta. Do we know who bought it yet? if so we need to gang up and take turns on riding the beta. Dave told me it was a older guy, i think we can take him

So i got the rims and tires to dave getting new shoes on as well as wheel bearings. Now im trying to figure out the whole electrical thing, ive heard that when running turn signals you should run them off a battery? im so confused, i suck at electrical.

PM'ed ya, papaj

To run turn signals and a flasher for the signals you need some power,a battery or possibly a good capacitor .

Yea I whined enough to get devon to help me when I get it back together. I just need to buy an inch pounds torque wrench. Would it be better to run a battery or a capacitor. The bike already has turn signals that did work, and when I brake the headlight turns off for a split second. Plus the wiring the previous owner put in is hideous.
