Devon, hope you are feeling better.

I just ordered a 3/8" dr drive ft/lb torque wrench. The 1/4" dr in/lb isn't enough to get the engine together. Ah well, needed one anyway. Now I can do it right.

Yes. That was part of the plan. I had to tell my wife that I could take the motorcycle to work and save on gas.

Plan for Sunday.

Whatever "it" is, is now on.

Here is the plan for sunday. Inmate Dadodirt and I are going to meet at the north portion of the glade park on 574 at 9 ish for a ride around that area. I am planning on starting my ride at 8:15 at the Pinion Hills portion of the glade park. I am then going to ride up the glade road until I get to the Montoya's property line. I figured I would turn right and take that double track around the property following the power lines as closely as possible to arrive at 574 and the power lines by 9. Ride a round for a bit and then hopefully have enough gas to get home. If I get to 574 and the power lines early I am going to ride to la plata and see if I can top off the tank.

Ok that is the plan. I will hang out at the glade entrance at pinion hills for a bit to see if there is anyone who is going to join me. I will be riding an orange motorcycle wearing a black and white helmet.

Jude

I'm not going to be able to make, the Dr350 isn't plated, and I'm heading into work to get a head start on my hours for the week so I have plenty of time to get the xr running for next weekend. I hope you guys have fun, take pics for those of us that can't make it.

We went looking for single track.

Well, it turns out that inmate Dadodirt is pretty hard core. Neither one of us had explored the area north of 574 and since there were two of use we decided to go take a look. We didn't find any single track but we did fine a bunch of neat canyons, some under-utilized wash with a spot of mud, and a bit of known single track south of 574.

Here is the unedited GPS track

Here is a picture of Josh a the top of a canyon north of 574.

More pictures of the canyon.

Great pictures and great ride. That's neat country in the northeast part of your ride. We have done it a couple of times.

We usually continue east across 550 and pick up another scenic dirt road that continues east and north. There is a spectacular view as you climb up out of the valley.

Pinion Mesa on sunday sounds good with me.

Does anyone know if there is a place in town to get Evans Waterless Coolant? I boiled of a bit of coolant this weekend and I was hoping to upgrade for future rides.
