First Ride of the Season

It is not as glamorous as I hoped, but my little DR is dependable transport. Wife's Subi is having some fuel related issues. So I let her take my truck to work as yesterday was my day off. Could not find the parts I need in town so I had to go down to Reno for a parrts run. There was no way the Subi would have made it. My summer car is burried under 6 feet of snow, is not registered or insured currently.

Went out back and dug out the DR350. It was under the deck but still had to remove some snow and ice. Wheeled her out front. Pulled the choke, hit the start button and within 5 seconds she roared to life.

Geared up. Rode to the gas station. Tanked up on some freash gas. And slabbed it on the highway to Reno 45 min and back.

Not one hippicup!!

You can always count on the Americans to do the right thing, after they have tried everything else.
