I get there and have a blast till 5 in the morning. Wake up in a sleeping bag next to the campfire 3 hours later, covered in snow, but still warm, and still drunk. I wait a few hours for the hangover to wear off. Then I figure it's time to give this thing a try. Hop on the bike and take off, almost like I knew what I was doing. Then I figure out that if you push left on the handlebars, you go left, which helped. Next thing I know im powersliding around, topping out 3rd in a snow covered field. Then I decided to try and climb a hill. That didnt go so well and I ended up with a flat in the front. I have to say this was one hell of a time, and I cant wait to get enough $ together to buy that bike off of joe. Hopefully by spring I will have some on road experience and I will be able to see what this whole dualsport thing is really about. Thanks for a hell of a weekend chain.
hey noob
dont give him any money for that bike. tell him to get off it and make you a samich

Glad you enjoyed yourself. come back when the weather is a little more ride tolerant and we'll work on skills and bike aquisition strategies.

Sylvia had a great time, she wants to go to more rides. I would love it if she would get her own bike. I think she would like riding with us, but that is her decision to make. She has gone through the MSF class but is afraid of riding in traffic.

I am glad everyone liked the wine. It's one of her hobbies. What flavors does anyone want at the spring ride? Dandilion? Chocolate? Elderberry? (insert monty python quote here)

I understand there is to be a vote about me going but she is welcome.
Until you get her on her own two wheels, I think it will be both of us.
She said she will make a cobbler at the spring ride, gotta love that!
P.S. she has three sisters.

There are many things in life that you would be pretty stupid NOT to do...

Among them....
Ride illegal trails and hills with a broken leg.

Stop abruptly while riding in three feet of dirty water.

and plenty others....just ask Joe

Im afraid of traffic as well, thus the lust for gravel roads. Get that girl a sherpa, she'll ride it.

Don't feel too bad about the vote, most of us married up also.
