Yeah, I just had to buy one because the stocker wouldn't go on anymore.

Eventually we all get to that point. Same goes for the 21.5mm oil filter cover....eventually it rounds off and you get the purty red one.

IMS gas tank finished.

Saw this on the IMS webpage, looks like the finally finished the 3+ gallon gas tank for the TE/TC/TXC449/511 bikes. It says it comes with a new Seat Concepts seat with the tank.

IMS long range tank

So I saw this on the IMS Products webpage, looks like they finally made the tank. It looks like the price also includes a seat concepts seat as well.

http://www.imsproducts.com/Products/...eleaseTitle=18

It says it fits the TC/TXC/TE449/511 models.

I don't know anything about the new husky's but is the 2012 the same as the 2009 BMW's? Are the 2012's any good? Someone is offering me a trade and I want some "inside" info on them. I have always been a Yamaha and KTM guy although I did have killer 2004 Husky 450SMR. Thanks!

The Huskys are massively improved over the BMW. Whole new chassis, big power bump and an active support community at Cafehusky.com

The 12s have minor suspension and ECU mapping changes from the 11s. I own 5 off-road bikes and my 11 TXC511 remains my favorite.

Just a quick thread revive...I just purchased a 2013 TE511. I could not resist the end of year close out pricing. Sold a DRZ 400 to get the Husky. Had the dealer install an FMF powercore slip on and do map II. Got about 100 miles so far and bike runs great. No stalling or hesitation. Lots of power. Just needs a little suspension adjustment as I find the forks pretty harsh. So far I am really enjoying the bike and don't miss the DRZ

An other close out buy....

Just picked up my 2013 TE449 and got Christened!

Must got some of the electricals wet as I had starting issues until she dried out but was then flawless. First weekend has been great. This replaces a 525EXC so has a lot to live up to, but so far soooooo good.
