Bourbon, Bridges, Bikes, Blokes, and FISH - KENTUCKY
Today I met up with some friends to rip across some asphalt in the fine state of Kentucky. We met in Shelbyville Kentucky at Derby Cycles. I have no pics of this meeting, so just imagine 3 southern gentlemen, one with extremely good hair(me), and 3 motorbikes.
We set out Eastbound on these motorbikes. I believe 3 bikes means we are a motorbike gang. :
My first destination on our little ride is this big abandoned bridge :
We could not easily find a way to the bridge on both sides of the river. We keep looking, and find this :
Beyond this sign, we find this train :
It appears to be broken down. Perhaps its a BMW train? A closer inspection of the caboose :
And of the passenger car :
We turn around, and visit this delicious piece of Americana :
Everyone gets their turn in front of the sign. This is John. His moe-tard sounds angry all the time. :
Heres Chris, his bike is cool and fast. But his back brakes are broke. BrokeBack Brakes Chris.
We finish the ride with some of Kentucky's finest seasonal fish :
