New wallpaper on my laptop. Big tanks and fork gaiters, you can't beat them.

Yeah, those are the ones I have, and interestingly are also the ones that I found on the spare set of WP50s I bought a while back. (Of interest here was that on this old spare set the rubber had gone hard and brittle on the bottom where it was in contact with leaking fork oil- hard and brittle but was still intact and working).
Aside from this old set going hard on the bottom they seem pretty good to me.
One issue with them is that on my set-up when the forks are shortened (as most of us are doing- and maybe in combination with the R-Dubb triples) the gaitors are a fair bit too long- to the point where if you use them as is when they concertina up they will actually limit fork travel.
Sliding them further down the forks would work OK but I've got a fork brace so that is not an option for me.
Cutting the top or bottom off is also not really an option (as they fit very well on the top and bottom) so I am going to try to cut a section out of the upper middle and then try to glue them up again. Probably won't work very well...

And I agree with some, gaitors look awesome and when thinking of it and wading through the internet opinions and cons and pros, neoprene socks just don't add up to me.

And Solo,
please keep us (and me) informed about your fork tune up and the potential for shim kits for our application. I am definitely in for set of plug and play shims to try.

Yep, that link you posted I ordered through. Then I got a cryptic email from amazon stating they were mislabled and I would get a credit. I think it was ATVunlimited...then I ordered from another amazon vendor, same thing happend but they claimed out of stock. Everybody else on google is out of stock, but one vendor would be getting some on Friday. I went through 15 vendors........all out of stock and not certain when they would get more. Crazy.

Hey SOLO, what type of hardware came with them? Just hose clamps, doughnuts??

Just got word that my forks have been all buttoned up and are ready... I have been asked not to share the valving/set-up/etc but will post my riding impressions as soon as I can get these back on and do a few miles.

Wow! Can't wait for your impressions. I'm so confused as to why all these suspension tuners are so hush hush about this application. I mean come on.....how many people are really going to do this???

Especially considering how spatially dispersed we are... It is not like I am going to ship my forks to the US for a tune up. It is like a secret society or something, it actually really bugs me.
Solo, provided the results are good is there still any chance your suspension guy might want to sell some shim sets?
I am really looking forward to your feedback. What oil weights are you supposed to run with?
