To those who have one of these pegs, do they fit the F8gs even though the website does not include it on the BMW list?

It's either Stampa or a Fastway, but want to try the Stampa since I understand it better clears the kick stand lug.

Thanks for any input.

My brother and i both have 2009 GS's and could not get them to fit without significant modification. The ROC Stopma peg was to wide and would not fit through the opening on one side and there was a scew in the way on the other side - so the peg would not sit flat. Went back back and forth with the US retailer and ROC Stompa but could not get it to work.

It is my understanding that it fit fine on other 800 GS's - maybe there are different production variations.

Mine fit fine on the shifter side but had to grind down a little screw head on the brake side to get it to fit. Had the Fastways and they would have snapped the side stand spring retaining lug for sure since I fall a lot...

I succeeded doing the same thing and got them to fit easily. Here is the issue I found. When installed on the F8, the spring is not under tension at rest, although it functions when lifted. For this reason, however, the peg has a little jiggle/rattle to it. It doesn't seem to affect anything negatively when my feet are resting on them, but be aware of that. All Roc Stompa would have to do is fabricate a custom spring for the F800GS.

They do look sooooo good because they are the only pegs I could find that came in black. But the jury is still out for me.

I put my 1200gs roc stompas on the 800gs no worries. Just needed the spacer on the brake side.
