Thanks! Most of the pictures were taken with a Nikon D5000 which is med-entry level DSLR. Some were taken with a Cannon Rebel DSLR which was my Dad's.

Well, that's it for the 2009 VFRD ride, covered almost 2000 miles in six days, it was an awesome ride.

BoomBostic and I met in Francis, Ut (He works in Orem and I work in Sandy) to make an evening out riding.

Ut 35, "Wolf Creek Pass" is a very nice road you can ride after work and be home before dark.

To make it interesting, we took "Guardsmans Pass" from Park City to Big Cottonwood canyon, which requires a few miles on dirt.

The summit of Wolf Creek Pass - It really is a great road.

Would happen to know what lens you have? Are you color correcting these with any software? Sorry to get off topic but some of these are simply beautiful and the GF is bugging me for a good camera and I'm trying to learn.

The camera came with two lenses and as far as lenses go they aren't great. I think if you bought them separately they might go for around $200 which is cheap for a lens, my brother who is a real photographer and spent around $2000 for a lens. I do have a UV filter on my lens's for protection, etc...

I like photography, I took a semester in college which helped me gain some understanding of depth-of-field, shutter speeds, etc... Alll the pics I take while riding (actually moving) are done with the camera set to "auto" mode and stopped I shoot full manual. I use photoshop to do some post processing, sharpen, pump up the saturation and contrast, to try and reduce some of the haze.

One 4th of July I had nothing to do so I went on a solo ride.
Friday evening I rode from Riverton, UT to Fish Haven, ID. Saturday I went from Fish Haven, ID to Jackson, Wy and back. Sunday I did some exploring on a 4 wheeler, Monday I rode home.
