PVR vintage ride and gathering Marshall Va

Images from the PVR (Potomac Vintage Riders) vintage ride and gathering in Marshall Va today (April 17 2011). Nice turnout and some nice machines in attendance. I took a nice 80 mile loop with two BMW R69s slash2's, a Honda Interceptor and a K100, with myself on my 78 R100. Fun ride, and great day for riding..

Enjoy

RM

Nice /2! It looks just like my 1st motorbike. Except I don't see the dent in the tank made by my knee when I T-boned a Buick.
Thanks for posting, RocketMan!

Heya Hank! Almost headed down to Willvillie for that little gathering recently but...looks like you all got some weather...
That machine is owned by Lap's old freind Quan who has a business where Lap's son has now set up shop (right next to Lap's old place) in Alex.

Hope to see ya at the Fof (if work schedule allows) its June 17-19 this year.

This looks awesome. Where can I find out more about events like this? I have a 73' CB 350 I'd bring.

The PVR thing or Fof?

PVR's web site is here http://www.potomacvintageriders.com/

they have some meets and stuff, lots of off road riders in the group.

The Fof is the Festival of Five's (slash 5's, that is, as in BMW's) but its open to anyone on any machine. Just a small group gathering each summer, no fees, no plans, no rules...

And there is the British and European meet in May or June(?) out in MD. Not sure of the location this year though, as I hear it moved.

Lots of familar looking bikes and people there.

I see you got a pic of Angel on "the rude bike". It came her and Jim with 6" over tubes, apehangers, and a stepped seat. They returned it to stock except for the period paint job, the panels on the tank and side covers have fish scales

British & European Classic Bike Day
is May 22nd.
