Hey, ALL these pictures here are great. They really tell the story. I didn't mean to insinuate that only Dean's were great - it's just that he has a knack for knowing when and where to get the camera out (opportunities that I would handily miss and recognize late!)

That dust in your teeth is all that is left of these guys. Very kindly they stopped at all the turns and waited for the followers.

I must admit that looking at the list of attendees, it did seem like quite the eclectic mix!

Mrs. H14XL (G14XL?) Fed me fed me wonderful food, 4 meals worth. The hospitality given is appreciated more than you know Ms R. Thank you again!!!

A terriffic lady, that Rhonda. And that Kevin guy's not such a bad schmuck, either!
I'm glad to be able to experience this through all the tales and images. Truth be told, about 2/3 of me wishes to have partaken, but the remaining third is glad not to have been wet and cold! I need to get properly geared before I can do a trip like this in this kinda weather.

Enjoying the videos, Kevin. Here's a GOOD PLACE TO START teaching yourself. PS: let me know if you want some help with the learning curve.....

Thanks George. I looked at that quickly and it already answered a couple things for me.

It's a lot of fun (at least at first then it becomes a lot of work haha). After getting the basics down with that, the product I chose is an earlier version of THIS It was fascinating teaching myself to make multi-level menu DVDs with 5.1 surround sound.

Very excellent RR!

Like all the photos!

We rode the ALT before Hinton a week earlier, only going North. It was slippery as snot and definitely not for Adventure bikes.

Looks like you all had great fun!

BTW, which $15 video camera did you buy and use for vids?

Good times... WV is too good.

"I must admit that looking at the list of attendees, it did seem like quite the eclectic mix! "

If the faster folks were the slightest bit bored... they didn't show it. The group was a hard core unit going down the miles, challenge after challenge. No one left behind. It organically worked having a variety of riders.

I agree Jack. I would do another trip with this group without any hesitation. Matter of fact the wheels are already turning.

The only regret I have is we planned too many miles per day considering the conditions. I was looking forward to the end of the day socializing with everybody. Unfortunately we missed a lot of that due to our long days on the trail.

Hell yeah! Usually there's a jackass or two in a group but everybody was pretty damn cool. I don't remember any whining or complaining, even with the rain on Saturday.

I was wondering what the comment meant myself.....

Kevin--I really appreciate all the mapping etc that you did for the trip. Even though everyone was happy to take a quick break and wait for the group to gather, the advance planning allowed everyone to know they could get the end point if they needed to solo. It was surely a great piece of mind.

Thanks Dana. I can't hardly believe it's already come and gone. You all missed some roads Monday I think you would really enjoy. Twohawks wants to get together for a day trip and run them sometime. I'll let you know when we go.

I have to agree, great group. I felt the pace was good every day in that we weren't waiting around forever on anyone and people were still able to ride their own ride. Also, there was some great team work getting everyone through the interesting parts.
