Talking Group Buy! WR250R Scotts Steering Damper!

Good news! Renazco Racing Store (http://www.renazcoracing.com) has agreed to do a group buy for the Scotts Steering Damper Sub Mount Full Kit for the Yamaha WR250R!

UPDATE: PRICE:

I was quoted a price of $489 for the WR250R Scotts Steering Damper Sub Mount Full Kit during the group buy.

The price I was quoted is very good for the Scotts Damper, almost 14% off the retail price. This is a similar (or better) discount than we achieved at the last damper group buy (for the F800GS). Tell your friends!

A coupon will be issued for a limited time for the buy, I will let you know the details when I can.

UPDATE: I have the coupon, I will PM the coupon to everyone on the list and anyone who is interested. Post up or PM me for the coupon and let's get our dampers!

Update: The group buy will end APRIL 30. Please let me know if you haven't received the coupon yet!

Link to the damper from the manufacturer's web site: WR250R Sub Mount Full Kit Steering Damper

We need at least 10 units in the buy to make the price, and if we get more there may be some extra discount! We are still working on the price so stay tuned or chime in as a maybe!

Please PM me or post here if you are interested!

Based on the wildly successful F800GS Steering damper kit group buy I was part of with Renazco, this should go well!

I'm interested if the price is a significant discount. And, I don't even have a WR250 yet!

Great! No harm getting some accessories before you dive into a new bike

I've gotten some PMs so updated the list. Looks like we have a good bit of interest!

Scotts

I'm interested depending on price. Prefer a GPR but might go with scotts if the price is right.

I'm interested (depends on price, sadly), but can I use this with the stock bars?

Yes, you need to get the adapter for the stock bars, an optional "bar reducer" kit has inserts that help clamp to the stock bars.

Thanks for doing the work for this. Is the standard mount available in the group buy too?

I plan to buy one this year and this would be a good opportunity, but I don't think I need the sub mount. (I am 5' 8" and I'm afraid the sub mount would make me feel like I had ape hangers!" ha ha

I have been wanting one and considering the GPR.

If the deal is sweet enough and I can sell a thing or two maybe...

OK.. I have everyone logged as of this morning.

I am not certain if the standard (above bar) mount will be available in this order but you can ask James at Renazco Racing, he is organizing the group buy on the vendor side.

I am also 5' 8" and riding with the yamalink... When I stand up with the stock bars they are just a hair low so a raise will be perfect. The sub mount will raise the bars about 1 inch (20-25mm). If you plan on doing a lot of standing riding (like I do...) raising the bars will work out great!
