I think most here are actually rooting for him. Who wouldn't like to build a $20k BMW for ten percent of that sum? Even those of us with 'cheap' (relatively speaking) used bikes get occasionally hit with 'BMW prices' for parts or repairs, so I think everybody sees the allure.

Moosemeat may have gotten sick of you guys, but I have enjoyed the banter. He gives as much as he gets and keeps you guys endlessly entertained and even provides many educational things as well.

Have a little faith you guys.

We wish you all the best Moosemeat and have enjoyed your bike build, please come back.

Cheers

Roba.

this buds' for you!

I still here fellas'

Im enjoying the positive posts and negative ones

Yes it runs
it actually runs pretty dam good
no, it hasn't been parted out
yes ive been stroking it, but not on the bike, I stroke it daily actually

I'm still toying with the f800gs above seat aux fuel cell idea, but the f800gsa just hit the showroom floor so its got me rethinking my approach.

that's good for now........more to come.......until then I'll quote one of my favorite Matthew Modine movie lines for Hillbillypolack

"Well....uh......not until yah...eat the peanuts outta my sheeeeiiiiitttt"

Common,do it!!!

and show it....i dont care if it runs for that matter...
I've had that idea to fit on my 1100gs for quite sometime ago, almost scored one frm fellow inmate for $100..but then, shipping to this part of the world, from what he quoted me,cost $370?that's almost 4x the price of item...and,that is so close in getting the $515 hp2!!!

It's pretty easy to post a pic/video of it being ridden Moosmeat. We're all stoked to see it but, come on! What's the purpose in keeping us hanging? It's an incredible build and we want to see it on the road. If no pics at least give us a good reason!

IMHO The "good reason" is the asshatery that has come from some people in this thread!

Maybe he doesn't feel he has anything to prove?

Maybe he does. Maybe he does not. Not any different than his project. It is his MO.
