Unless it's was a rainy mid-week run, there have been 2 LEO there every time I've gone. You just have to count on it. On a weekend, always going to be there.

Not riding like a squid is a good thing for everyone though...

Thanks for all the posts. I've been working for 20 some hours straight so I can leave town of Friday am. We have no intention of riding the Gap on a weekend. Radar detector or not I'll try to keep a good pace without getting hit too hard; BRP is a total pita for LEO. I got bagged on Skyline years back on my SV doing quite clip.

Just like any road cops have their favorite spots and I hoped to get some insight on where and when folks have noticed them. Weekdays are a mixed bag. I pray for rain sometimes but the washout can be a bitch to deal with, sometimes it can add to the fun but not on this bike. I'm still debating taking the DR650 as it's totally low profile and cuts like a knife with 17's on it. That S3 is a freakin pig to wipe around in comparison.
