I want to know if that 650 still runs. Pipes look like they open at the front. Be a great musical instrument for whatever band is playing. Kind of like...

except with less compression, and you have to set the valves after every song.

Kulag Memorial, Turkish Memorial?

Dear Doug,
Great road trip and thanks for sharing with us.
I have seen the below pictures about the KULAG MEMORIAL.
The marble stone on the right has turkish flag on it.
But I can not read what is written on it.
If it is not too much of hassle can you send me the pic, or hat the stone says?

Regards

That's a railway coupling, not a Gatling gun.

Just squint a little... It could look like a gatling gun.

Hmmmm, what could it be?
A witch burning?
A rolling stones concert?
Michael Flaherty’s Riverdance?

You were hoping for Michael Flaherty's Riverdance?

The stone on the left is the Azeri memorial and says "In memory of 150.000 Azerbaijans, the victims of Stalin repression, deported to Kazakhstan" in Azeri, Kazakh, Russian and English language.
