On a completely different note, well, ok, he was political, & did turn into a communist....

But, Im looking for a 1939 Norton 500 to retrace Che Guevara's ride thru South America

(without it breaking down & being abandoned) not that it wont break.... its a 70 year old british bike.....

Anyhow, I'd prefer a mostly complete non runner to rebuild, I dont want/cant afford a bike thats redone, plus, I want to make sure the rebuild is done right. Basketcase is ok also, and even just a motor frame would be a good start, but it has to be a '39 model, if Im gonna do it, I wanna do it right.

So keep me in mind if anyone has one rusting away in the garage

Thanks! Doug

Danish Norton

The only one i could find i DK .... 50000 kroner (thats somethin' somethin' like 10000USD). But nice though.

A 16H year 1939 :)

But thats too far from US, too expensive and too nice a condition bike ;) I'll bet the owner would give it to you, if he knew what great adventures that awaits.

Great idea for a ride, I'll pre-subscribe! Just my way of stickin' it to the man. Enjoy the fishin', they'll probably bite if you tie on a purple rubber worm.

for a European (and even a Russian) politician that's pretty Bad Ass

don't want to comment on politics, but in bad assism Putin beats the rest of the crop hands down

(let's play politics : he and Huntsman doing the four corners or so ? could lead to new Harmony............)

yes, compared to all of the rest of the world leaders. I wouldnt want to bet against Putin in a bare knuckle knife fight...Huntsman is pretty bad ass. I saw that helecoptor shot of him on his MX bike ripping through Utah's painted desert......That looked pretty bad ass..
