Talking Dallas Show

Hey Doug,

Sorry I missed the show - glad I got to spend time with you. My mom was so impressed she asked for me to put your website in her favorites list! That was a great experience to share with 3 generations - my mom , me and my son. We talked about it most of the way back down to the coast.

Careful on the way home 'Bama. Look forward to hearing from you.

James

Haven't been there, haven't done that, but I got the T-shirt

Doug - saw you today at the Dallas show. Thirty minutes isn't long enough to even scratch the surface of this amazing trip. You did a great job, and I filled in my family on some of the things you couldn't cover. Great meeting you in person after following you for so long. We're all waiting for the Cannonball report!

If I'd known Doug was going to be at the Dallas show, I might have gone.

...

Nope, still wouldn't have gone, dates of the female variety take priority.

And if so, do you have a schedule of when you might be speaking? Planning to be there, would love to catch your presentation.

They should have given you 3 time slots. Having you quit after just one and giving time to those other guys to clutter up our minds with stuff like safety etc etc. just didn't seem right.
I'm now the proud owner of a Dirtster -------- T-shirt.
We need to hear more from the pretty lady working with you at the booth.
Looking forward to your next adventure.

The Arkansas crew DRZ Charlie, 10Cup and I enjoyed listening and meeting you. We got your Cannonball Run shirts, and we really look forward to following you on that route. Like you, we wish it was the southern route again so we could watch it come thru in person.

Doug,
It was great to hear what you had to say at the seminars, or at least the parts I got to hear. It was also great talking to you and your awesome lady, Poly. I look forward to wearing your Dirtster and Cannonball shirts so that I can tell folks about your travels.
Again It was awesome visiting with you and I look forward to seeing you again. Can't wait for your next travel thread.
Marty

Hi Marty
it was nice to meet you too. Hope to see you again sometime!

I met alot of folks from on here at the last 2 shows, but I think Long Beach will be a madhouse. I'm going to redo my presentation, if I have time this week, to make it more fun & interesting (at least I hope it works out to be)

Poly & I will get to LA thursday, & since she hasnt been there before, I figure we'll rent a car for a day so she can see hollyweird & all that stuff.

AND this week I will TRY to do an update on this RR!

I leave it alone, & people start posting pics of modern whizzers & shit like that. I even saw the ass end of a KTM in one of the pics!

As we all know by now, the only good part of a KTM is the forks.....
