Doug, have you done anything to put the air intake up higher than stock? I remember from Colebatch's BAM thread that they had some pretty deep puddles and river crossings.

I know you are the "Adventure Guru" but are you seriously going to try and ride into Afghanistan? I am currently in Afghanistan and I would not recomend it, actually i will probably try and talk you out of it. I just dont see how it could be worth the risk. I mean seriously what would we do without your wacky threads to follow. Well best of luck to you... with whatever you decide.

Im only planning on the Whakhan (sp?) corridor, a small area in NE Afghan. its in the mountains, & theres no fighting going on there. Hell, those people may not even know about the war....
Im not going to ride to Kabul or anywhere like that.

He not has to live that long, because there he has got some bad information!
Georg 'Schorsch' Meier passed away in 1999 at age of 89...
