Looks like a really cool place. How much did the room cost? Is it legal or does he rent out on the side? If illegal, then how did you find him?

Looking forward to a few pics of the local talent

What's up with your spot shitter? The last 'messages' it presents are seven days old, and have you near Pavlikeni . . .

Stoppin' for some, ahhh, R&R?

Bosnian ĎNo Campingí sign.

I was heading for the Serbian border, but as an idiot, I followed my GPS instead of looking at my map. By the time I realized this, I didnít feel like backtracking, so kept on forward. The road kept climbing, the pavement got worse, & the snow at the top was getting a bit closer. I passed thru several villages, & got a lot of looks. I guess not many tourists pass this way.
Finally, I got up into the snow, but it wasnít too bad, & the roads were clear, (of snow AND pavement)

The pavement stopped all together, & turned into rough gravel About 20-30 minutes later I reached the top. What a great view!

A little farther on, & I saw the city that I was heading to, down in the valley

I passed a small village at the top, & even it was mostly blown up. I cant imagine what people way up here could have done to be considered a threat to anyone. They probably didnít even know there WAS a war until their house got hit.

So I headed down, & the pavement didnít reappear until I got to the bottom, close to the town. This is the first time I was not missing the chopper. Haha

About 10km out of town, I saw the sign for the main road to Sarajevo.
Well, ANYONE can take the MAIN road!

As I got closer to the border, I was riding along a nice river, on a new road.

I got to the border, & was expecting a problem, as Dimo had sent me an SMS, when he left Bosnia, they asked why he didnít have an entry stamp. It took him a little while before he was cleared to leave. But, they didnít ask me, so on I went. Then at the Serbian border, things got more complicated as usual.
He asked for my docs, then the bike docs. Then he asked for my insurance.
As usual, I have ins that only coveres the EU, theres a big X over SRB, so they make me pay 100 bucks for a month of their ins at the border.
He took all my papers, 10 minutes later, here he comes. Hand me my papers, & says I can go.
I guess he didnít even look at it. Saved me 100 bucks tho!

I got to Cacak, & met Zoran, who had invited me to spend the nite. Heís lived in the US before, & traveled a lot. He was a cool guy & interesting to talk to.

I guess it pays to take the small border crossings. At the main crossing between Budapest and Belgrade they kept my passport at the booth until I came back from the main building with the receipt for the $100 insurance.

They charged you the same amount as they did us in a Land Rover! No discount for bikes.
