Glad you had a fun meeting in Bulgaria ... maybe I would like to come next year.

Sorry to hear about the crashes, but at least none of the injuries are super serious.

Look forward to more

Eastbound & Down.......

So today I got my last visa, for azerbijan. 6 visas in 4 days. If anyone need to find these embassies, just ask, I went to em all enough times!

Big thanks to Andi, as without his help, Im sure it would have taken longer!

I got
Azerbaijan
Turkmenistan (5 day transit, waiting for me at the border)
Uzbekistan
Tajikistan
Kyrgistan
and Borats stompin grounds, Kazakhstan!

(I'm told I can get the Afghan visa in Dushambe)

My passport now has more money invested in it than some of the bikes I have travelled on!

I'm heading out in the morning
WooHoo!

Doug

'Stan' is an eastern European word for 'Bob'.

"Stan" means "land". The first part of the name is the name of the people who live there. So, "Land of the Kazakhs".

This is not useful when traveling by land. You will have obviously been stamped out of Egypt or Jordan and then, after being gone from the face of the earth for a while, been stamped in at one of the land border crossings. Your Carnet will show even more obvious evidence of the route you took. Won't work
