Nice report, nice to see a harley rider making his harley functional and really travelling despite of trying to compensate for a small weener..

How does the bike handle? it looks it has a very hight gravity centre..
did you have to work a lot opn the engine to make it more secure?

Uh-oh, Doug get a smugbug acct. Wondering why you were riding so late into the nite? Were you pressing for a destination, or having issues with finding a place to sleep? Hope you're doing well, really enjoying the history lessons!!

Now, this is a post with character.

or something.

And the "English as a second language" adds to the flavor.

Let's get Doug onto SmugMug. With Photobucket, you get what you pay for. We can take up a collection for it. With better than 429,000 viewers, it shouldn't be hard to do. Maybe Baldy's crew could facilitate this.
Doug's ride reports are a national treasure and should be preserved.

I agree...smug mug

Those other services get you hooked with initial free posting but charge once you get enough pics on. I noticed this would be the case with me after only one ride. I saw those pics before they were replaced and they were some of his coolest!

Doug consider this your sponsorship offer -
I got a few bucks to help your online photos fund.
You will just have to; subject your bike to a full vinylwrap
with my branding, stop at all of my dealerships along
your way, take photos with my promo girls, do meet-n-greets
with my corporate VIPs, and when doing interviews
make sure not to forget to take a few sips of my energy drink
and please be careful that your fingers do not obstruct the cameras view of my logo on the can.

I will have one of my assitants hand deliver the contract for signing to you somewhere along your route.

All kidding aside though
Doug does indeed need a bigger space for photos. It will be a pain re linking all the photos posted so far but I volunteer to do some of the work involved.
