Sothern zone of Russian language is also more wider than it's painted at above map. At the moment, knowing Russian you don't get lost also in Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Tadjikistan. I would add also in this zone Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan, where it is second popular language after native one. These countries are parts of former USSR. And Russian was main language of the Empire.

Hi luxerus!
. Salute to the southern part of our former USSR! Can you tell please, how many people from Kazakhstan are registered on ADVRider? I dont know how to check inmates from any country. As I understand, I am still the only one citizen of Ukraine here. And may be, 3 or so men from Russia. Will you meet Doug in your city?

I love how this thread TOTALLY digresses in between Doug's posts. It's like sitting in a waiting room with all this idle banter.

That chrome thing made me laugh.......... and then the comments regarding the chrome thing from Doug's faithful made me spit perfectly good alcohol on my keyboard. Thank you all, nothing better than combining a good laugh with spraying cleaner on my laptop to wash away my 9 year olds fingerprints from her time with Club Penguin.

Try Hindu-Urdu... population growth in China is starting to stabilize and the India sub-continent is exploding (e.g., Bangladesh and Sri Lanka). Forecasts have the India and surrounding area population being more than China by 2030-35 and consisting of 1/3 the world population by 2040 or so... and 9 BILLION world wide by 2050 (we're passing 7 billiion this year).

Doug,
When you are in Kyrgyzstan, if you need something in Bishkek let me know. I still have a lot of friends there and can even arrange bike work if need be. Also, in KG in general, if there's an issue, get in touch with me (I'll send my number via PM), my wife is Kyrgyz (so she speaks Russian and Kyrgyz) but speaks English nearly fluently as well, so she can assist you if there's a major issue. Steve

Re: I think Valerka who is on RTW is from ukraine. His thread is in here in somewhere.
Yes, he is from Ukraine. He successfully got (back) home in june 23 or so. I dont know how to say it about him: he got back home or he made it to home, becouse he was moving ahead, around the world, all the time.

It looks like the soccer match that has 15 minutes of play , with a break of 90 minutes in the middle .
