thats my souvenir battery charger from turkmentistan. most people just get a turkmenbashi tshirt. I went all out.

thats actually the SMALLEST one I could find. and I had a taxi driver running me around to various shops looking. Back home, or in europe, you can find them nice & small for 20 bucks. This idea hasnt seemed to reach TM yet. To make it even worse, When I was in Croatia, Sherri Jo had told me she was tired of carrying her small charger, and asked if I wanted it.
Of course I declined. I dont need to carry a charger with me.......

I think that statue is called 'the fool' or something similar. I thought of you when I took the pic, altho he is much skinnier.

the welder was interesting. the ground wire was short, so it was clamped to a piece of flat bar, which was laid onto the wheel rim to make ground.
He didnt have a torch, so he cut the rebar to length by burning it with the welder. But, its fixed, and its strong. He charged me about 4.00 in tajik money for the job, and I gave him 5 usd as a tip. needless to say, we were both pretty damn happy.

I took this pic in Bulgaria, havent added anything since then. theres also a spare clutch/throttle cable on the bike, a top end gasket set, and maybe a couple other things Im forgetting

ha ha ha you Americans are SOOOOOOOOO conservative. Like Alcohol in the USA ... every kid has to drink and get stupid. In Greece, it is more relaxed and as a result alcohol isn't as big a deal.
