I spoke with Marty this afternoon and he said he would love to make it, if he's in town. How long is thing going to last? I don't get off of work until 2:30 at best. I can ride over after work or try to get out a little early. We shall see...

Two things you never ever say to a woman!

1. NO! never ever say no. It might be yes, but not right now, not in this mellinnium, but never no. It is like waving a red flag in front of a bull. If you want trouble tell her no. If you want to get along always say yes.

2 Shutup! very inflammatory, sometimes worse than no. women have to talk to shut them off is a fighting word so, be quiet would be much better, learn to absorb it. Nomy darling wife of almost 40 years loves to go ride with me, camp, and travel but Imake sure it is not all me.

I hope you have a great time at the SX.

I don't think I could bring myself to tell Jen to "shuttup." My dad brought me up better than that. Now, telling her NO is no problem! We're pretty laid back people. I don't think we've EVER gotten into a huge fight in our 8 year history. The secret is to pick your battles. So far, I haven't picked one! Just kidding, kids!

Eh?

You best be getting ready for tomorrow there Flux, a little bird told me that Slim is going to put you through the wringer with that KLR of his. While I am BS'ing, he managed to stay upright all 4 times I didn't the last time we were together.

Things aren't lookin' good for me on Saturday, after all. Whole friggin' family's gonna be in town just 'cause my brother's wife's about to download a kidlet. Whoopty-freakin'-doo, huh?

Anyhoo, if I DO make it, it'll probably be a brief appearance.

Wanna let all yff's know, if you haven't caught it already, that our favorite (current) two wheeled nomad, Vance, is in town, and lookin' for trouble. A bunch of folks are gonna meet up at the Vortex (Little Five Points) on Thursday night for beers, food, fun, and the inevitable trip to the Pink Pony. Come on out for the fun.

No excuses, you DS fellers - ride the knobbies downtown, the city will reward you.
