PROJECT-S was put on hold this week while I had a crew come in and replace the 38 year old heater/air conditioner system in the house.
Some times ya got stop the fun stuff (PROJECT-S) to do things that keep the misses happy

I had a house that was built in the early 60s. Getting rid of the wall heaters and installing central heat and air was the best thing i ever did to/for that house. Good on you for keeping the misses happy. See ya Sunday either way.

While PROJECT-S is still in dry dock waiting for me to finish the brakes, I've decided to bring the tank and seat to VBOC tomorrow for a sneak peek.

Set up the lift jig to fit the bike with center stand installed. Now I can put her on the lift when ever I need to. Still need to finish the brakes, will be easier to do with wheels off and bike on the lift.

What did you have to do to handle the excess RT wiring or any changes to the RT wiring to do the migration?

I did same thing. I pulled and tucked the extra under tank and into headlight bowl.

Like he said. I also removed the turn signal buzzer and its relay. Left the clock/volt meter harness for the S fairing install. Only had to add wiring for front turn signals, had extra blades on the fuse board to plug into. All this was easy to do.

So You didn't tie into the existing RT turn signal wires? Or buy the "normal" turn signal harnesses?

How do you route those wires around the fork leg?

I guess it will become clear to me when I get closer to it.

Ya, I know, the photos are crap. I had my camera set on some wacky 1600 ISO night shot settings that day from the night before. Did not follow my own advise to "reset, reset, reset" my camera before shooting. This is why I don't shot photos for a living.

By the time I realized my error it was dark and the garage had been put away for the night.

I am ordering some parts for my RT conversion.

I need a brake line.

My RT is a 92 with single brake line.

Motobins has a Brake line for 86-on RS twins

Will that work with the S bars or will it be short?
